Our History & Milestones

Since we started in 1988, Premlink’s mother company – Xizi has worked hard to improve broadband communication technology. We have grown from a local component factory to an international fiber optic solutions provider through constant innovation and smart growth.

The Beginning and Early Success (1988–1999)

1988: Our journey began with the opening of the Yuhang Xizi Broadcasting & Antenna Equipment Factory, which laid the groundwork for our RF knowledge.
1990: The successful launch of our self-developed tap/splitter (YSFZ-201) created market demand that exceeded supply, proving our product quality.

Growth into Electronics and Customization (1999–2006)

1999: Started Yunshi Electronics Co., Ltd. to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality electronic components.
2002: We developed our first custom RF amplifier (YS-023RA) for an MSO, marking our entry into made-to-order products.
2004: Added a line of optical equipment to our portfolio, beginning our move into fiber optics.
2006: Officially changed our name to Hangzhou Xizi Optoelectronics & Network Co., Ltd. to reflect our tech focus. We also purchased 11,000 m² of land for a future, larger factory.

Recognition and Strategic Growth (2006–2012)

2007: Recognized as an “Advanced Enterprise of Investment on High Technology.”
2008: Achieved a major milestone with annual sales exceeding USD 10 million.
2012: A pivotal year. We founded Hangzhou Premlink Tech Co., Ltd. to meet the fast-growing international market’s needs. This gave birth to the global Premlink brand.

Innovation as Premlink and Modernization (2012 – Present)

2015: Premlink developed a unique high-power EDFA, showcasing our innovation in optical amplification.
2016: Launched RFoG ONU products to address evolving network designs.
2023: Opened our fourth workshop building, significantly expanding modern manufacturing capacity for future demand.

Premlink’s Dedicated Manufacturing Plant

We established a brand new modernized factory that is distinct from other Chinese CATV / Fiber Optic factories and trading companies. Contract Manufacturing, Original Equipment Manufacturing, and Original Design Manufacturing are all services offered by Premlink. We are responding to various customers’ requests.

Our 11000 square meter factory is outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and technology, and our hardworking employees are both experienced and capable. We combine teamwork and technology wherever possible to exceed our clients’ expectations in terms of work quality and services provided.

Our ODM Process: From Idea to Mass Production

We have a clear, team-based ODM process that we follow to make sure your project is a success:
You send us the Request for Quotation (RFQ), and we look at your technical and business needs.
Feasibility and Negotiation: We check to see if the project is possible. There is talk about business terms and technical details.
Agreement and Planning: Once the technical solutions are set, we give you a project schedule and sign a Product Design Agreement that includes all the details and terms of cooperation.
Development and Sample Approval: Our team starts designing and building, then sends you samples to test and approve.
Pilot and Mass Production: We do a Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) run to make sure everything is correct, and then we start full-scale mass production.
