- High Reliability: Housed in a compact, durable PVC casing with an extreme operating temperature range of -40 to +85℃, built for long-term indoor stability.
Technical FAQ: PL190A-3S FTTH Passive Node
Q1: What makes a “passive node” better than an active receiver in FTTH network?
A: The primary benefit of a passive node is its independence from the household power grid. It eliminates the need for power adapters and electrical outlets near the fiber entry point, reducing potential points of failure and simplifying troubleshooting for both technicians and end-users.
Q2: How does the PON Pass port ensure data integrity?
A: The internal FWDM component in the PL190A-3S provides a dedicated path for 1310/1490nm data signals with ultra-low insertion loss (≤1dB). This ensures that your high-speed broadband and VoIP services remain at peak performance while the 1550nm CATV signal is efficiently extracted.
Q3: Can this node handle digital and analog signals simultaneously?
A: Yes. With its 40-1002MHz frequency range and high-sensitivity PIN diode, the passive node is fully compatible with Digital TV (QAM), HDTV, and traditional analog signals, making it a versatile tool for any RF overlay architecture.
