- Stabilized RF Output: Características integradas Control automático de ganancia (AGC) óptico and high-gain amplification to deliver a robust output level of 80 to 96dBµV, ensuring consistent TV picture quality across various fiber link losses.
- SCTE 174 Compliant: Fully compatible with industry-standard RF over Glass protocols, supporting multiple diplex splits (42/54MHz, 65/86MHz, 85/105MHz) for global ISP network harmony.
- Comprehensive Diagnostic Interface: Includes a 1V/mW optical test port and a -20dB RF test port, enabling non-disruptive monitoring of both optical and RF performance during live network operation.
Technical FAQ: PL10-3B RFoG Micro Node
Q1: When should I use the Burst Mode switch on the rfog micro node?
A: Modo ráfaga is essential for suppressing network noise and mitigating OBI (Optical Beat Interference) in multi-user environments. However, for certain network diagnostics or specific legacy CMTS environments, the PL10-3B rfog micro node le permite cambiar a Continuous Mode (No Burst) via the physical button, providing unparalleled field flexibility.
Q2: How does the PL10-3B support DOCSIS 3.1 ?
A: Unlike standard 1GHz nodes, the PL10-3B is designed with an extended 1218MHz spectrum. This high-frequency capacity, combined with its low noise floor (Equivalent Noise Input <7 pA/√Hz), makes it the ideal platform for operators migrating to DOCSIS 3.1 without replacing their FTTH terminal infrastructure.
Q3: Can the RF output level be adjusted for different cable lengths?
A: Yes. The node features an Adjustable Slope (up to 5dB) and AGC-controlled output. Technicians can use the -20dB test port to verify signal strength at the subscriber’s home and ensure that the RF levels at the TV set or Cable Modem are perfectly balanced regardless of internal wiring loss.
